The Pentacle is a pentgram within a circle, representing the interconnectedness of all things. The circle represents the wheel of life, the cycles of the seasons in endless procession, with no beginning and no end.
This wall plaque from Dryad Designs and artist Paul Borda features a pentacle wrapped in a Celtic knotwork pattern of vines, with fantastic creatures circling the pentacle, and representing the elements. The satyr reperesents earth, the faerie air, the dragon fire and the mermaid water. It is a cold cast resin replica of the original, which took over 300 hours to complete.
